Paul Mampilly Offers Information You Can’t Get from Wall Street

Banyan Hill Publishing is a fast-growing publisher of independent investment advice, with over 400,000 daily readers who rely on the site’s panel of experts to help them identify promising investment opportunities. The website focuses on investments such as commodities and natural resources, small-cap and mid-cap stocks, income-producing investments, options plays, and deeply undervalued U.S. companies.

Banyan Hill was founded in 1998 as The Sovereign Society, and quickly became known as a leading global asset protection and investment organization based on the values of self-reliance and personal sovereignty. The site focused on offering its readers advice pertaining to global investment strategies, U.S. dollar diversification, establishing and running offshore bank accounts, asset protection trusts, international business corporations, private foundations, second citizenships and foreign residency, along with tips on maintaining personal and financial privacy.

The site was rebranded in 2016 as Banyan Hill Publishing to focus on offering actionable advice from the company’s network of global experts in asset protection, investing, and entrepreneurship. These experts enable Banyan Hills to help everyday Americans obtain the freedom of “total wealth,” which gives people the ability to choose their financial destiny by making their own financial decisions and growing their wealth with less risk, while being free from the financial worries that so many are saddled with today.

The site’s name is taken from the banyan tree, which is the world’s largest tree when ranked by canopy size. The banyan tree is unique in that, as its branches grow they are supported by clusters of aerial roots extending towards the ground which form additional trunks. While these trees don’t grow as tall as redwoods or oak trees, their ability to support themselves with additional trunks enables them to survive natural disasters such as hurricanes that can devastate other natural or man-made structures which are in their path.

With market volatility rearing its head again after years of relative calm, many investors may be wondering when the next financial tsunami will strike. Given the history of busts regularly following booms in the financial markets, it is not a question of whether, but rather when, another such event will occur.

For investors looking for shelter from an oncoming financial storm, only two options are readily available today: They can visit a financial advisor who dispenses his company’s cookie-cutter advice while charging a pretty penny for doing so, or they can make their own investing decisions without any outside assistance; needless to say the former option is by no means appealing, while the latter option assumes that you have the time and the energy to become a financial expert yourself in addition to doing what you do to make a living. Both of these choices are unsatisfactory, and either can pose a clear and present danger to your financial health.

Banyan Hill Publishing offers a better alternative for growing and protecting your wealth. Through the site investors can peer over the shoulders of the Banyan Hill’s renowned experts and benefit from adopting the very same strategies they have employed to build and protect their own wealth. Banyan Hill’s experts have served as hedge fund managers; they’ve traveled the globe, advised world leaders, written financial bestsellers, and assisted millions of people to gain control of their financial future. These experts have backgrounds in technical analysis, business management and financial planning, helping equip them to provide you with insights that can help you reach a higher level of financial success without incurring undue risk.

If the methods Banyan Hill suggests seem unusual or unorthodox it is because that is what they are when compared to the same old same old unimaginative advice emanating from the mainstream financial news media. The site takes pride in presenting readers with opportunities known to very few investors, which is what can make them so profitable.

For investors weary of being bombarded by the pointless investment patter produced by the mainstream media and one-size-fits-all advice from Wall Street that doesn’t help you when markets head south, not to mention the hidden fees and conflicts of interest, Banyan Hill offers an enticing alternative. Investors can think of the site as their banyan tree for, offering them the type of support that can help them weather the tempests that periodically blow through the markets.

Banyan Hill’s expert contributors offer advice on a wide variety of investment themes covering a broad range of promising opportunities to build and protect wealth. Their expertise runs the gamut, from up-and-coming technology stocks to resource plays, cryptocurrencies, and much more. Below we take a detailed look at some of the most popular investment publications offered by Banyan Hill and the professional experience and background of the senior editors charged with overseeing them.

Meet the Editor: Paul Mampilly

Banyan Hill Publishing
Paul Mampilly is the Senior Editor for Banyan Hill Publishing and contributes to the Profits Unlimited,True Momentum and Extreme Fortunes newsletters.

Paul Mampilly is a senior editor for Banyan Hill specializing in growth investing, technology, small-cap stocks and special opportunities. He has been interviewed on CNBC, Fox Business News, and Bloomberg TV. Paul came to the United States as a youth and began his career on Wall Street in 1991 as an assistant portfolio manager at Bankers Trust. From there, he quickly rose in the ranks and was entrusted with the management of multimillion dollar accounts for Deutsche Bank and ING. In addition to these firms, he also managed investments for the Royal Bank of Scotland, Sears, and a private Swiss bank.

As he became better known in the investment community, he was approached to be a key manager at the $6 billion hedge fund Kinetics Asset Management. With Paul at the helm, the fund saw its asset rise to $25 billion, earning a “World’s Best” hedge fund label from Barron’s after it averaged 26% annual returns during Paul’s time at the fund.

During this time Paul demonstrated his investment acumen when he was invited to participate in a prestigious investment competition sponsored by the Templeton Foundation. Paul was able to turn a $50 million investment into $88 million, representing a stellar 76% return. Even more impressive, this occurred during the market downturn triggered by the Great Recession of 2008/2009 and was accomplished without shorting stocks.

Paul has also racked up impressive results in his personal investment account. His April 2012 investment in biotech firm Sarepta, which was still in the process of developing its muscular dystrophy treatment, turned into a 2,539% profit eight months later. His late 2008 investment in Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) also paid off with a 634% gain when he sold the stock in May of 2010. His penchant for finding big winners doesn’t end there. He realized a 355% gain in Exact Sciences Corporation, 696% on Ariad Pharmaceuticals and 279% on Facebook, among other home run plays.

After turning in superlative performance year after year, Paul grew tired of the Wall Street grind and making money for the ultra-rich. So, at the age of 42 he retired. However, he never lost his desire for finding stocks with the potential to deliver outsized returns. Now, rather than seeking out these opportunities for the ultra-rich, he focuses on finding winners for Main Street Americans.

Profits Unlimited: In this publication, investor extraordinaire Paul Mampilly introduces subscribers to low-risk investments with outstanding growth prospects. To find stock plays of this type, he focuses on identifying companies that are positioned to benefit from two major trends reshaping the investing landscape: the Internet of Things (IoT) and millennials.

True Momentum: Paul focuses on helping subscribers learn how to attain gains of at least 100% with only a moderate level of risk in this advisory service. To do so, he uses the same strategy that has enabled him to rack up gains as high as 305% in a single year in his personal account.

Extreme Fortunes: Paul swings for the fences in this publication. His research has demonstrated that each year, on average, 43 stocks climb 1,000% or more. In Extreme Fortunes, Paul offers the kind of audacious stock picks that can result in life-changing profits.

Meet the Editor: Matt Badiali

Banyan Hill Publishing: Matt Badiali
Matt Badiali contributes to Banyan Hill Publishing’s Real Wealth Strategist and Freedom Checks.

Matt Badiali has turned his wanderlust into an asset in his search for investment opportunities around the world. As a specialist in resource-based investments, his work has found him traveling hither and yon to analyze resources in the most effective way possible: in person. He has been to Hong Kong, Iraq, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Turkey, Haiti, and Switzerland, among many other locations. He’s talked to the CEOs of resource companies about their company’s prospects and analyzed all type of geologic data to sift the wheat from the chaff and determine which resource opportunities are the most promising.

Matt believes that it is impossible to discover what is really going on without sizing up the situation yourself. This can encompass everything from local politics to company results and more. The most effective way to determine if an investment is really as alluring as it looks on paper is to visit it and see for yourself if the reality matches up to the numbers. He’s worked on drill rigs, owned oil rigs, and explored abandoned mines in his quest to find profitable natural resource investments.

Trained as a geologist, Matt has the knowledge and experience to find the investment red flags that are best discovered in person. An example of this is checking to see how long it takes a drilling crew to drill a hole, or how efficiently a drilling operation runs – even a promising resource can provide suboptimal results if it isn’t tapped properly. Given that drilling can make up the largest expense for small resource companies, it is a key factor to monitor.

Over the past decade and more, Matt has combined his geological skills with his training as an investment analyst to discover opportunities for tremendous profits. In performing research in the sector, he has interacted with numerous resource investing heavyweights, including legendary energy investor T. Boone Pickens, Ross Beaty, Chairman of Pan American Silver, and Rick Rule, CEO of Sprott U.S. Holdings. Before he joined Banyan Hill, Matt worked as a geologist for a drilling company as well as serving as a consultant to an environmental firm. He possesses a B.S. in Earth Sciences from Penn State University and a Master in Geology from Florida Atlantic University. He has also taught Geology at Duke University and the University of North Carolina.

Real Wealth Strategist: Veteran geologist and successful investor Matt Badiali combs the globe for profitable opportunities in natural resources for subscribers to Real Wealth Strategist. This sector offers opportunities for massive profits, but it requires a steady hand at the wheel to separate the winners from the losers. Matt has mastered the art of capitalizing on the booms while sidestepping the busts in the sector. Natural resources have been at the heart of some of the largest family fortunes in history, including Boone Pickens, the initial Hearst fortune (from silver mining), and the Rockefeller fortune. With guidance from an expert in the field like Matt, investors can rest assured that they are in the hands of an experienced guide when it comes to unlocking the enormous profit potential of the sector.

Freedom Checks: Matt Badiali helps investors identify the best opportunities to collect what he calls “freedom checks” from investments that qualify under the 26-F statue passed by Congress in 1987. Companies can issue these checks as long as they generate at least 90% of their revenue from processing, storing and transporting oil and gas in the U.S. and agree to pay out monthly or quarterly dividends to investors. Companies paying these dividends (the freedom checks) are known as MLPs (master limited partnerships). Because the dividends are considered to be return of capital, they are tax-free to investors.
